Blue Lobster Seafood Restaurant and Franciacorta bar is centrally located in Cheshire’s Champagne Capital, Alderley Edge. Last Thursday, the venue hosted a glamorous gathering of Cheshire people – a glitzy celebrity-styled event to launch its new Autumn/Winter menu.
On the guest list for the “Saxy Seafood” event were local celebrities, including Alderley Edge resident, Bosnian beauty and new Real Housewives of Cheshire (RHOC) star Nermina Pieters-Mekic and her Stoke City fooballer husband, Erik Pieters.
Original RHOC cast member Magali Gorré, who lives in Bowden, brought a touch of sophisticated glamour to proceedings, showing off her trademark warm smile throughout the event.
Guests partied into the night in the Blue Lobster’s stylish bar that wouldn’t look out of place in a five-star hotel in fashionable Milan. Sipping on Franciacorta (the Italian-equivalent of Champagne) and perfectly-executed Porn Star Martinis, Cheshire’s beautiful people listened to DJ Lee Knight and International House Music Saxophonist, Sairasax.
The focus of the event was the restaurant’s new menu, and to this end the kitchen turned out a series of taster dishes. These included Monkfish with Pancetta, Tuna Carpaccio with Scallions and Garlic Oil, Roasted Octopus with Paprika and Seafood Lasagna. There were options for those less keen on the fruits of the sea, including Slow Cooked Beef Cannelloni with Truffle, and Roasted Aubergine with Mozzarella and Basil (aka ‘Parmigiana’).
The evening was organised by Cheshire Socialites who are well-known for staging glitzy parties across the county.
Nowhere does glamour quite like Alderley Edge, and those in search of a bit of Italian flair should give this A-lister a try.
