Cheshire’s National Restaurant Awards winners

The National Restaurant Awards this week recognised two local Cheshire venues in its chart of the UK top 100. 

The Sticky Walnut in Chester is the county’s highest ranking entry, featuring at No.47 of the Estrella Damm Restaurant Awards, which were announced on 12th June.

Close behind, at No.54 and from the same stable, is Hispi in Didbury. OK, not strictly Cheshire, but close enough.

Further afield, three Lake District restaurants were awarded places: Forest Side in Grasmere, Lake Road Kitchen, Ambleside and in Cartmel, L’Enclume.

Lancashire winners were Moor Hall in Aughton, ranked 70th and the Freemasons at Wiswell which came in at No.77.
